DESCRIPTION:I appreciate your interest in Skyline Farm’s annual 5K Trail Run/Walk!\nRACE IS NOT SOLD OUT/ YOU CAN REGISTER ONLINE\n\nSkyline Farm is a volunteer-run nonprofit organization situated on over 50 acres\, just 25 minutes from Portland and Brunswick. The farm maintains a collection of horse-drawn vehicles and offers a range of recreational and educational opportunities throughout the year. Our trail run showcases our walking trails that are open to the public 365 days a year. \n2025 Prizes: Two $100 gift certificates to Marathon Sports for top M/F finishers. Sweet and savory pies will be given to first-place M/F runners in 8 age categories from 14 and under to 70 and up. Sign up as a team\, and if you win\, you will receive a $25 gift certificate to Toots Ice Cream. A fun 1K kids’ run ($10 donation appreciated) will start at 9:00 a.m. Pancake breakfast and bluegrass music by Main Street Music add to the festivities! This year volunteers will supervise children under the tent so that all family members can run the race. \nThe course will be one continuous loop through Skyline Farm Trails and adjacent Yarmouth Water District trails. The course has varied terrain and a few hills. SUMMARY:9/11 Memorial 5K Run~Walk and Kids Fun Run
DESCRIPTION:This race benefits the Stephen G. Ward Memorial Scholarship Fund.  Steve was young\, vibrant\, and ambitious when he was so needlessly taken from us on September 11th\, 2001. He was a funny\, charismatic\, and loving son\, brother\, uncle\, and friend\, and was climbing a promising career ladder at Cantor Fitzgerald. He was one of the best and the brightest\, a symbol of what America lost that tragic day. This event is to honor and remember all of those we lost.\n\nEvent t-shirt for the first 100 registered. \nKids’ Fun Run starts at the adjacent Gorham High School track at 8:30 AM.
